Will a generic lamp be as bright and last as long as the original?

Brightness and Lamp Life are related, so that the brighter the lamp the shorter the life. The technology regarding these miniature lamps is well understood and so the generic lamp has a design life and brightness the same as the original that it is replacing.

Why are these lamps so much less expensive than the originals?
A.
We have been supplying these lamps for nearly twenty years, we have excellent relationships with the manufacturers, from whom we buy in large quantities so gaining the best possible price. Furthermore we keep our overheads to a minimum so that we can provide you with the best product at the best possible price.

I can’t see the lamp I want on the web site or I’m not certain what lamp goes into my instrument, where can I get help?

Send us an email with as much information as you have and we’ll work to find the correct lamp for you.

What happens if I order the wrong lamp?
A.
No problem, just return it to us. As long as it is in a saleable condition when we receive it back we’ll issue you with a full credit.
